Solutions Consultant

Chromata Solutions is seeking a Solutions Consultant to join a fast-growing team who will be responsible for providing professional business consulting services, both individually and as part of a project team.

Duties include providing subject matter expertise across the practice landscape and developing high-quality client deliverables and work product, participating in, and where appropriate, leading project engagements, supporting practice-related business development and pre-sales activities, and participating in the creation of high value-added practice methodologies, tools and deliverables.

This position may require travel to client sites that are located throughout the GTA, Canada, and with the potential for occasional travel throughout North America.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise in the digital asset management landscape across multiple industries and sectors.  Identify, develop, and deliver appropriate operational and systems solutions to clients. Duties may include:

    • ​Working closely with clients to understand their requirements, and documenting them appropriately, while creating effective solutions

    • Oversee and coordinate a comprehensive response to proposals and Requests for Information

    • Act as lead for workshops and training sessions as required

    • Create and implement metadata models and taxonomy framework relevant to the Client's needs and requirements

    • Document and create clear and concise technical and business documents & processes including Request for Information (RFI) Request for Proposal (RFP) and Scope of Work (SOW)

    • Develop, document, and deliver formal presentations for both internal and external stakeholders

    • Provide financial analysis/Budget formulation

  • Digital Asset Management Administration tasks including the engagement of existing and potential DAM customers/users, create, support and manage a sound metadata strategy, and keep informed of latest DAM technology trends and developments

  • Successfully advise management where opportunities to up, and cross-sell, on an existing engagement to broaden Chromata Solutions revenue generation scope impact

  • Actively participate as part of the client pursuit team and contributes to new business proposals and proposal development

  • Assist pre-sales activities by functioning as an execution SME for clients and internal teams

  • Be knowledgeable of all Chromata Solutions capabilities, promote and cross-sell these to clients and prospective clients

  • Perform project tasks independently, and direct the efforts of others where required

  • Anticipate client needs and formulate solutions to client issues

  • Review all deliverables for accuracy and quality

 

Qualifications

Required Skills:

University Degree in Library Science or related discipline a plus
Previous experience implementing and/or administering DAM/MAM systems and/or Rights Management systems 
Thorough understanding of taxonomy development and asset categorization protocols. 
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. 

  • Travel 25% to 50%, passport required

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Access etc.),  Google Suite Tools (Docs, Draw, Sheets, etc.), Smartsheet and Lucid

  • Ability to collect, assimilate, retain, and analyze information on the business, including data collection and analysis, modelling (Excel modelling) and research

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to express oneself in a logical and concise manner are essential

  • Team building skills and the ability to establish effective relationships and rapport with a wide variety of individuals will be crucial to success

  • Ability to work independently and self-manage work schedule on a regular basis

  • Bilingualism (French and Spanish) an asset

 

Working Location

Currently, Chromata Solutions does not have a permanent office due to the nature of the work finding us onsite with our client’s most the time. The successful candidate will be required to work as follows:

  • Ability to Telecommute

  • Ability to travel within the GTA for onsite meetings, workshops and implementations at client offices which can include long engagements (days or weeks)

  • Ability to travel throughout North America
